Symentic Technologies

Intelligent Systems. Better Future.

We build the systems businesses actually run on.

Symentic Technologies is a UK software company. We build custom systems for clients — and we run two SaaS platforms of our own, which means we live with the decisions we make.

  • Product engineering, end to end
  • Web, mobile and the APIs behind them
  • Integrations that actually hold

What we do

Four things, done properly.

We'd rather do a narrow set of things well than claim everything.

01

Product engineering

We take a product from a rough idea to something running in production with real users on it — architecture, build, launch and the unglamorous work after launch.

  • Architecture
  • Build
  • Launch
02

Web & mobile apps

Web apps, iOS and Android from one codebase, and the APIs behind them. Built to be maintained by whoever comes next, not just by us.

  • Next.js
  • Flutter
  • NestJS
03

Systems integration

Making software talk to software: payment gateways, channel managers, EPOS terminals, third-party APIs. Usually the part that decides whether a project works.

  • Payments
  • Webhooks
  • Hardware
04

AI where it earns its place

Language models applied to specific jobs — drafting replies, translating guest messages, categorising content. Shipped and in daily use, not a demo.

  • OpenAI
  • Structured output

Our own products

We don't just build software.
We run it.

Two platforms, both live, both with paying customers. Everything we learned keeping them running is what we bring to client work.

Live

Hotel management & channel manager

A property management system for independent hotels, B&Bs and guest houses. Front-desk calendar, two-way sync with Booking.com, Airbnb and Expedia, payments, guest messaging and reporting — in one system.

Restaurant ordering & EPOS

Online ordering, an EPOS terminal for the counter and a kitchen flow that ties them together. Runs on real hardware in real restaurants, including in-room dining that charges straight to a hotel folio.

How a project runs

Four stages, no surprises.

The same shape every time, whether it is a six-week build or a two-year platform.

  1. 01

    Scope

We work out what you actually need, write it down with a cost, and tell you if we think part of it is a bad idea.

  2. 02

    Build

Short cycles with something you can click at the end of each one. No month-long silences.

  3. 03

    Ship

Into production, on your infrastructure, with the deployment documented so it is not a mystery.

  4. 04

    Run

Monitoring, fixes and the next round of work — for as long as you want us on it.

How we work

No black boxes.

You get the code, the infrastructure and the documentation. We write software that the next engineer can pick up — because often, that engineer is us, two years later, and we have opinions about being kind to our future selves.

We work in short cycles with something you can click at the end of each one. If a thing is not working, we would rather tell you in week two than week twelve.

Where we work

Sectors we know well.

We are not sector-exclusive, but these are the ones where we already know the vocabulary, the integrations and the awkward edge cases.

Hospitality

Hotels, B&Bs, guest houses and holiday lets. Front desk, distribution, payments and guest comms.

  • PMS
  • Channel manager
  • Guest messaging

Food service

Restaurants and takeaways. Online ordering, EPOS hardware, kitchen flow and delivery.

  • Online ordering
  • EPOS
  • Kitchen flow

Small business software

Multi-tenant systems where each customer needs their own data, branding and rules.

  • Multi-tenant
  • RBAC
  • White-label

Stack

What we build with.

Boring, well-supported tools with long track records — chosen so your system is still maintainable in five years.

Questions

The things people ask first.

If yours is not here, just ask — we will give you a straight answer.

How do you price work?

Fixed scope for well-defined projects, or a monthly retainer where the work is ongoing. Either way you get a written scope with the cost before anything starts.

Who owns the code?

You do. Code, infrastructure and documentation are handed over. We do not hold your system hostage.

Can you take over an existing project?

Often, yes. We will read the codebase first and tell you honestly whether it is worth continuing or worth replacing.

How long does a project take?

A focused build is usually 6–12 weeks to something in production. We work in short cycles so you see progress every week, not at the end.

Do you keep supporting it afterwards?

Yes, if you want us to. We run our own platforms in production, so ongoing support is normal work for us rather than an afterthought.

Do you work with businesses outside the UK?

Yes. We are UK-based and most of our clients are too, but we work remotely and time zones have not been a problem.

Got something to build?

Tell us what you are trying to do. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.
